LESSON 16: TEACHING KIDS TO CROCHET BOOKMARK CRAFT

Welcome to LESSON 16 in the series of teaching kids to crochet.
So you have mastered LESSON 1-15, or you are still in practice mode. Either way you will enjoy this simple craft and be able to share these adorable bookmarks with your friends when you are done!

You will be able to PRINT a copy of the pattern at the bottom of this page. You can add this to your notebook or save it to your device/hard drive. As you can see I have included a complete TOOLS list and instructions. There is a video tutorial for those of you that don't read crochet patterns. Please feel free to SUBSCRIBE today to my YOU TUBE channel and join us as we learn new crochet lessons. I have also included a copy of the verses that where used in this lesson. You can use your own little sayings to make your bookmarks unique. We purchased our stickers at Michael's.

GROW IN GRACE

WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM

A NEW CREATURE

We created our bookmarks with white card-stock.
We used a paper cutter to make them all the same size. (mom needs to help with this)
You can make you bookmarks as long or as wide as you wish!

Cotton Yarn worked best for this application
Pony Beads are fine,

I would recommend that
you find beads that have
 a large hole in the
 center to allow the
 yarn to slip through easier.
WHO......?

Each of our bookmarks delivered a powerful message.

Make CRAFT TIME "POP"

Use bright colors!

For those of you that don't read crochet patterns or are new to crocheting this video will help you. Follow along as I show you how to create these adorable bookmarks!
