One taste of this bread and you will FALL in LOVE with the moist, decadent flavors and make it your favorite too! I love to serve it with herbal tea or a frosty glass of cold milk! Our loaf is almost all gone! But the kiddos have enjoyed it and they have gotten in a healthy breakfast that was warm and YUMMY! It goes really good paired with my FARMHOUSE APPLESAUCE

I love giving homemade breads as gift for the Holidays. Sometimes just a little jester of kindness for family going through a rough time.

Let's bake some bread!

FARMHOUSE BANANA NUT BREAD
3 large ripe bananas
1 cup of sugar
1 large egg
4 TBSP butter melted (not hot)
1 1/2 cups all purpose bread flour
 1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts ( I finely chopped mine in a Kitchen Aid mini processor)

I used a KITCHEN AID mixer and KITCHEN AID mini processor for this recipe. You can use two bowls, large spoon, potato masher and manual nut chopper.

Preheat oven to 325 degree. Light grease ( I use olive oil cooking spray) a 9x5 inch loaf pan and sprinkle with flour and set aside. In your mixer bowl on low; mash bananas until smooth, add sugar and egg continue to beat on low, add butter. In another bowl, stir together flour, sea salt, and baking soda; add to banana mixture and stir just until all flour is moistened. Add walnuts and stir lightly.
Pour batter into loaf pan. I sprinkle the top with walnuts before baking. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes. Insert toothpick until it comes out clean. Yields one loaf.
WHAT IS IT SO DIFFERENT THAN MOST RECIPES?
One of the main reasons other than flavor, goodness and easiness of this recipe is that the nuts are so finely chopped that anyone can enjoy this. Small children, kids with braces, family and friends with dentures? No problem. These walnuts are super tiny and all they have to do is swallow!
