Art Lessons with Flowers

Here at the farmhouse we love flowers, from Roses, Zinnias, Sunflowers and Buttercups we love planting, harvesting and picking them for our vases all over the house.

We love to see all the pretty colors and to have them bloom throughout the season.

We love Art here at our house and what a better way to incorporate and Art lesson than with a garden lesson.

I create the following worksheet with that in mind.

This worksheet is free for using with home-school and so forth. I ask you do not copy it and use it for commercial use.

The photo shows a watermark. The download will not have a watermark.

I encourage you to get some seeds and plant some flowers this spring.

In no time at all you will be able to reap the rewards of having beautiful flowers all over your home.

Kids can pick the flowers that they plant and give little bouquets to family and friends, they can be pressed in little books and saved for keepsakes.

Kids always bringing you flowers and the petals fall off? That is OK just make potpourri.
Keep a bowl were you can add petals in and within a couple of weeks your bowl with begin to get full of flowers petals and memories too!
Little rose buds and petals make the sweetest potpourri. I always just add a few drops of rose essential oil to the petals and shake in a gallon bag.
Fill a small jar with this mixture and give as gifts.

So print out a worksheet and grab some colored pencils and have a fun loving Art class today!
