Easy Peanut Butter Balls
One of our favorite recipes, right on time for the Holidays!
Peanut Butter Balls
What you need:
1 cup of Peanut Butter (we used Jif Natural)
6 cups of sifted confectioners sugar
2 stick butter (room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 24oz package of Almond Bark (chocolate)
Cream butter in Kitchen Aid mixer (hand mixer works fine too)
Add the Peanut Butter and blend until creamy.
Gradually add confectioner's sugar and vanilla until starts to form a dough.
Roll into equal size balls and freeze.
I used a cookie dough scoop to make this process easier. This step makes the PB balls cold and prevents them from breaking apart while dipping in chocolate.
Following directions on your Almond Bark melt in bowl.
Until it looks like this! Ok, you must have self control during this step or your Peanut Butter Balls will never live to see the light of day! ha ha
I used a fork to dip mine, I slide the fork over the edge of the bowl to remove the excess chocolate.
Once the chocolate is set you can add sprinkles or leave plain.
Store in fridge once chocolate is set.
Keeps for about 2 weeks and make about 30+/- balls.
